People-NOT from NYC: what is your perspective of NYC/Manhattan?
I am a country girl at heart, that was born and lives in Manhattan. I don’t even like it here. I would greatly prefer to one day get married and move to a farm area, in any northeastern or midwest/western state.
WHat do people from other areas think of NYC? and peeps from nyc?
I was born and raised in the midwest, but moved to CA. I actually have no inclination to ever visit NYC, neither does my husband. My thoughts are that it’s dirty, overcrowded, rude, pretentious, complicated, overpriced, busy, and crime-ridden.
I could be totally wrong, but I love my laid-back west coast small city. I’ll never live in the midwest again. The weather’s better here too.
